This part time Band 7 role offers a unique opportunity to work as the Sudden Unexpected Death in Childhood (SUDIC) Professional Lead and Senior Safeguarding Advisor (Adults) within Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. You will lead the SUDIC rapid response process alongside the SUDIC Paediatrician, providing compassionate support to families and coordinating multi agency learning to enhance prevention and safety. They will review complex safeguarding concerns, act as a specialist Datix reviewer, participate in statutory review processes, and provide expert advice across LCH. Additional responsibilities include leading workstreams, supporting service development, delivering safeguarding training and supervision, and line‑managing Specialist Safeguarding Adult Advisors.
