Specialist Physiotherapist / Nurse
Role Introduction
Are you a passionate physiotherapist or nurse with experience in continence care?
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Band 6 clinician to deliver high-quality continence services across Leeds Community.
This is a pivotal clinical role where you will provide specialist clinical care to the patients of Leeds. You will work autonomously and as part of a nurse led team to deliver evidence-based interventions and personalised care.
The clinician will provide evidence-based interventions including education, lifestyle modification, bladder and bowel retraining, pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation, and biofeedback therapy. This can be in patients’ homes and also in clinics across the city.
• Act as a leader, supporting junior staff and student nurses, and promoting best practices in continence care.
• Deliver and support training for healthcare professionals, carers, and patients.
• Collaborate with GPs, community nurses, urology, physiotherapy, and other key stakeholders.
• Participate in audits, service reviews, and policy development to maintain a high standard of care.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to data collection for service monitoring and improvement.
This is a city-wide service which operates Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
