Role Introduction

The LCH Community Dietetic Teams are looking to recruit a permanent 1.0wte (37.5 hours) Band 7 Clinical Team Manager.

 You need to have an excellent grasp of issues within this specialty including experience of working with a range of stakeholders and the challenges that this brings.

 

LCH Community Dietetic Teams have an excellent reputation for delivering high standard quality care and innovation and consist of three individual service offers including Adult Dietetics, Adult Home Enteral Feeding and a Children’s Dietetics Team, which includes Home Enteral Feeding.

It is imperative you are an outstanding role model in team working and co-working with staff in different roles and will demonstrate a full range of highly effective communication skills. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the teams and support colleagues with operational queries. 
 
 You are passionate about implementing and continuing to develop strong skills in leading people, including coaching and applying change strategies.

We require that you have good IT skills and excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative way with colleagues and other services.

  • Support the management and delivery of a community service 
  • Ensure the delivery of key performance indicators and work in collaboration with stakeholders
     You would be supported by the Operational Heads of Service and link with fellow Team Managers and Clinical Leads 

We expect the successful candidate to:

  • Have experience of supervising and be ready for a new challenge. 
  •  Have delivered service change that improves the quality for both service users and staff within finite resources.
  • Act as a role model for all staff by fostering a professional approach and encouraging best practice in all areas. 
  • Foster a culture of innovative ways to cope with operational pressures and demonstrate resilience  
  • Work closely with the Clinical Leads so that operational aspects of the service are implemented effectively.

In addition, you will hold a small clinical dietetic caseload will be within the Adult Team.
